The E John Gavras Center has grown dramatically itself over the past ten years offering a variety of programs and services to adults.   We aim to be flexible and responsive in our service provision so that we may continue to meet the needs of children, adults and families for the 60 years to come.

The E. John Gavras Center strives to be leaders in direct care service provision with programming of the highest quality for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.  All of our efforts are to serve individuals so that they may attain set goals and reach their aspirations of life.  The Medicaid Service Coordination and Direct Care Services are operated under the New York State Office of Persons With Developmental Disabilities.  Periodically program names change as well as guidelines for operations.
